Press-ups ----- 145 over 4 days ----- target >140 over 7 days
Sit-ups ---------- 326 over 3 days ---- target > 700 over 7 days
Running -------- 5 times (4hrs19) ---- target = 4 times (3hrs)
Cycling --------- 0 times ---------------- target = 3 times (3hrs)
It's a bit of a mixed result really, I haven't been able to get the work:home:training balance totally perfected just yet but I definitely feel that I'm getting there. As I managed to complete my running target and in all honestly with the London Marathon coming up this is what I really should be concentrating on, I should be happy with that. I reached my target in press-ups in only four days which is good, but if I had carried on then I would have smashed it. Sit-up wise I unfortunately tried catching the other two up and only succeeded in needing a few days off as it hurt even if I sneezed. Finally, cycling, I just haven't been able to cycle into work this last week and decided on a run at the weekend instead so that is down as a fail.
So what do I put down for this week? I think I've done okay. I've learnt not to do too much that I injure myself and I've completed my marathon training for the week so I'm happy. Next week I'll fit in some bike rides, continue with the running and be sensible with all the other stuff. It should be a good week.
Now let's talk about points
TOTAL POINTS | ||
Jona | Roy | Mark |
59 points | 83 points | 70 points |
I'm in the lead at the moment but there's less than 10 points in it for the top spot and just over 20 between Jona and myself. Bearing in mind that this is just the start and the big points come later on in the competition, the race is most definitely on. I'll need to be slow and steady in order to keep the points rolling in.
Anyway, time now to get Rosy up, finish off the last piece of school work and see the other at work.
